Meet Our Founder: Joe Ochoa Jr. 

Americas Empresarios has been a dream of Joe Ochoa jr. for many years and now has come to fruition. Joe Ochoa jr. is a Houston native and grew up in the roofing and construction industry. His father Joe Ochoa Sr. put him on his first roof at the age of 2 and captured that moment and it is memory that lives in Ochoa family. They like to joke around that he was born  in the roof back in 1976 but him mom would beg to differ on that topic. He is a graduate of the University of Houston and was fortunate to be hand selected to be a part of the opening team of a 1-billion-dollar hotel called the Paris, Las Vegas. During his time there he learned how the big corporation run the business. That was much different from the family business that his father started back in 1971. 

He also had an opportunity in working on specialty projects In New Orleans, Chicago and New York. This gave him great insight of how policy and procedures were a crucial part of an organization, after all Joe helped write many of the policy and procedures of the Paris Las, Vegas. When returning from Las Vegas he was given the  opportunity to help the family business with all that he learned. This truly helped the growth of the business and as a visionary of the company it gave the company a compass for the future.

Because of his natural servant heart, he wanted to share that with many startups and seasoned companies. This is where the dream started for Americas Empresarios! This gave him an opportunity to help all, but more specifically Hispanic and Latino companies, that did not have the tools and resources to connect and collaborate with other successful entrepreneurs. Joe Ochoa jr. was able to connect with other successful entrepreneurs when he was the President of the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas Houston chapter and the V.P. of the State Roofing Association. Throughout the years he has been able to help out 100’s of businesses and many reach out to him on a daily basis to get his advice. His natural servant heart has led him to serve the Roofing industry but also restaurants, home improvement, design firms, AC, plumbing companies and much more. American Empresarios is looking at growing their network and wants to serve as many companies and industries as it can.

Conoce A Nuestra Fundador: Joe Ochoa Jr.

Americas Empresarios ha sido un sueño de Joe Ochoa jr. durante muchos años y ahora ha dado sus frutos. Joe Ochoa Jr. es nativo de Houston y creció en la industria de la construcción y los techos. Su padre Joe Ochoa Sr. lo puso en su primer techo a la edad de 2 años y capturó ese momento y es un recuerdo que vive en la familia Ochoa. Les gusta bromear con que nació en el techo en 1976, pero su madre no estaría de acuerdo con ese tema. Se graduó de la Universidad de Houston y tuvo la suerte de ser seleccionado personalmente para formar parte del equipo de apertura de un hotel de mil millones de dólares llamado Paris, Las Vegas. Durante su tiempo allí, aprendió cómo la gran corporación maneja el negocio. Eso era muy diferente del negocio familiar que su padre comenzó en 1971. También tuvo la oportunidad de trabajar en proyectos especiales en Nueva Orleans, Chicago y Nueva York. Esto le dio una gran idea de cómo las políticas y los procedimientos eran una parte crucial de una organización, después de todo, Joe ayudó a escribir muchas de las políticas y procedimientos de Paris Las Vegas. Al regresar de Las Vegas se le dio la oportunidad de ayudar al negocio familiar con todo lo que aprendió. Esto realmente ayudó al crecimiento del negocio y, como visionario de la empresa, le dio a la empresa una brújula para el futuro. Debido a su corazón de servidor natural, quería compartir eso con muchas empresas emergentes y experimentadas. ¡Aquí empezó el sueño de Americas Empresarios! Esto le dio la oportunidad de ayudar a todos, pero más específicamente a las empresas hispanas y latinas, que no tenían las herramientas y los recursos para conectarse y colaborar con otros empresarios exitosos. Joe Ochoa jr. pudo conectarse con otros empresarios exitosos cuando era el presidente del capítulo de Houston de la Asociación de Contratistas de Techos de Texas y el V.P. de la Asociación Estatal de Techados. A lo largo de los años, ha podido ayudar a cientos de empresas y muchas se acercan a él a diario para obtener su consejo. Su corazón de servidor natural lo ha llevado a servir a la industria de techos, pero también a restaurantes, mejoras para el hogar, empresas de diseño, aire acondicionado, empresas de plomería y mucho más. American Empresarios está buscando hacer crecer su red y quiere servir a tantas empresas e industrias como pueda
